Rama Group - Duration

 

The duration of the MBBS is standard is 4.5 years with an additional resident internship of 1 year. The 4 years and 6 months duration of study is as per standard norms.

The MBBS degree is awarded only after successful completion of both the academic course and the internship.

 

·         Passing in I MBBS examinations completely is compulsory before proceeding to II MBBS.

·         Appearing for II MBBS University examination is compulsory before entering Final MBBS Part I. If detained for any reason the student has to join the immediate junior batch at that stage of the course.

·         Students who fail in any of the subjects in II MBBS University examinations will be permitted to enter Final MBBS Part I. But only after clearing the arrear subjects they will be eligible to appear for Final MBBS part I examination. Appearing for Final MBBS Part I examination is compulsory before entering the Final MBBS Part II.

·         Students who have failed in any of the subjects in Final MBBS Part I in the University examinations will be permitted to enter Final MBBS Part II. However only when they clear the arrears they will be eligible to appear for the Final MBBS Part II examination.

·         Students who have failed in any of the subjects in Final MBBS Part II in the University examinations will not be permitted for the CRRI program until he / she has passed in all the subjects in the University examinations.

·         Please note that all the fees including the tuition fees need to be paid for the extended period of study at any phase.

 

Students are awarded the degree only when they have successfully completed all the MCI stipulated subjects and criteria for their chosen discipline.
